St. Mary's has had a long history of Excellent
football!
St. Mary’s Youth Football program is a member of the Illini Youth
Football League (www.illiniyouthfootball.com)
which includes teams from southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. The
season runs from late July through late October and includes weekly
practices and weekend games. The season culminates with a playoff
format, including Super Bowl and Fiesta Bowl games in late October.
St. Mary’s Youth Football program is rich in over 80 years of history and tradition and has provided a foundation for hundreds of Woodstock youth for which their lives have been built upon. St. Mary’s will continue to provide sound leadership to the youth participants in developing the instructional fundamentals of youth football and competitive team sports participation. The emphasis of the St. Mary’s Youth Football Program is on God, Family, Academics and Football. The coaches and leadership of the program are committed to developing spiritually strong youth, with an emphasis on the player enhancing their family and academic lives as well as their experience in participating in instructional and competitive youth football.
